The Happy Way children's educational project

At Happy Way we have created a unique and advanced children's educational project. The first years of life are essential for the stimulation and development of our children. An education that encourages children appropriately at each stage is decisive for their future. The Happy Way children's educational project is developed by our team of educators and educational psychologists and endorsed by the Generalitat of Catalonia, which stimulates the multiple intelligences of each child from the first moment. Through play, experimentation, music and sport, our qualified educators work on the emotional, intellectual and psychomotor capacities of each child while teaching them positive personal habits to develop the perception they have of themselves, their safety, their self-esteem and their empathy. Our team is made up of:

Qualified classroom tutors: who provide teaching based on the school's educational project.

Native English teachers: who teaches classes to all the school's classrooms daily through the project HAPPY ENGLISH TIME.

Psychopedagogue: that evaluates the children weekly and with the help of the classroom tutors, prepares a quarterly report with the progress made and guides parents who request it.

The different educational disciplines work in close collaboration with the objective that children fully and balanced develop their abilities in an environment of creativity and freedom of expression in order to increase their autonomy. We work on activities that encourage habits of cooperation, collaboration and camaraderie in a climate of trust and respect that allows them to deepen new knowledge. We help them develop habits of hygiene and autonomy, to respect turns and to be patient so that they understand that they are part of a community that shares values, thus laying the foundations for the good development of their social skills.

Multiple Intelligences

Intelligence is not innate and immutable, through training we can help improve our children's abilities. There are different areas that make up intelligence and that can help you achieve personal and professional success in the future. Each child has their own interests and abilities and a unique way of learning. Therefore, an individualized analysis is important to offer the necessary tools to optimize performance. But we not only offer personalized guidance, we also work with a wide number of visual, auditory and tactile means and strategies, stimulating the different areas of intelligence that H. Gardner defines in his Theory of multiple intelligences:

Language, Mathematics, Logic, Knowledge of the environment, Psychomotor skills, Music, Art, Socialization

Each student receives the opportunity to achieve maximum performance in the areas in which they have greater ability, as well as improve in those in which they do not have special skill. Thus, each child finds the area in which to excel while acquiring general basic skills that will help them face the demands both at school and outside of it.

Emotional Intelligence

At Happy Way we consider that the school and family environments are two-way interaction systems that provide spaces for socialization and opportunities for children's development. A large part of our project is based on emotional education, a transversal axis throughout the entire course, because it is vital to learn to express and channel emotions correctly for the full development of each child.

There are many people with great academic ability but few resources to correctly manage their feelings, communicate effectively or interact effectively. All these capacities begin to develop from childhood and that is why our daily activities are developed on an emotional basis. We work and offer the necessary tools so that each child acquires emotionally positive personal habits taking into account the developmental stage in which they are. In this way, the concept he has of himself, his security, personal self-esteem and empathy will develop positively.

Special projects

Beyond the work we do with the 8 intelligences, we have developed a series of specialized projects that allow us to bring children closer to some knowledge in a more specific way. With these projects, children will be able to discover and learn new experiences linked to science, nature, art, etc. in a more experiential way.

There is no doubt about the importance of learning English from an early age. Our educational project, designed from different disciplines, emphasizes the learning of English: we learn and practice in English classes, in music workshops, in psychomotor skills and in plastic expression thanks to our native teachers.

Music is a vehicle for the comprehensive development of children. Families and educators use it naturally: from the first moment we adjust our voices so that they are soft and rhythmic, in other words more musical, and it helps us strengthen a healthy bond, establishing the universal language of music as a form of communication.

Astronomy Project

An exciting journey through space with which the little ones learn to observe the universe and recognize the main elements that make it up, such as the sun, clouds, the moon and the stars. A very special character will encourage them to carry out a wide variety of activities to awaken their interest and curiosity in science.

Introducing children to art culture is important to enhance the development of their creative abilities and the stimulation of their imagination.

At Happy Way we are committed to a global education that also includes aspects linked to nature. Through the Nature Project we promote respect, responsibility, effort and esteem towards animals and plants, essential values ​​for the little ones to develop in a healthy and complete way.
